Will You Be Shopping Cyber Monday?

Started by Kelly , author of Comments for Totally Kids Times... a day in the life of a store 11/26/2010 11:17:12 PM

With Black Friday behind us. Do you plan on shopping Cyber Monday?

Is one better than the other, like better deals or easier? Did you find good Black Friday deals?

Not really because I don't do the gift giving thing for Christmas. So I will only shop this week at Alice.com for my household products. I hope that cyber Monday is a good day for the online merchants though. So much easier than shopping in person in the stores, especially at this time of year.

Never heard of cyber Monday.  I did go out for a couple of hours on Black Friday.  I had no agenda other than to see all of the craziness!  The line to check out at Target wrapped all the way around the store.  I really do prefer Christmas shopping online.  The best part of Black Friday was breakfast at Mimi's with a friend.  :)

Marlene,

FYI: Cyber Monday is a rather new marketing term for the Monday immediately following Black Friday (for online retailers).

Totally Kids fun furniture & toys was swamped in the store yesterday and we were gift wrapping toys like crazy little elves. We will see what Cyber Monday has to bring?

Enjoy the Christmas season!

K

What a great selection of beds you have there!

I hadn't heard of Cyber Monday 'til now, either.

Unfortunately, I have to wait until my next payday to shop anymore.

We picked names this year to limit the amount we spend. I picked my d-i-l and already bought the bulk of my gift for her. I still have to get things for my youngest child and my grandkids, however.

I did not shop on Black Friday and I have no intention of shopping on Cyber Monday.  There is nothing I need that I can think of.  How boring am I?

Oh, there is something I need that I just thought of!  I need my memoir A Bad Marriage Is Fattening to be a bestseller, but that is not something I can buy -- I have to write it!  Of course after it is written and published, I can then go out next year and buy it on Black Friday or Cyber Monday to give to my friends.  But if they were really my friends they would go out and buy it for themselves and also buy extra copies for their friends! smiley
