Christmas goods in the stores

I was rather shocked to see Christmas lines in the shops this week here in my corner of Australia. It just seems earlier than usual.

Yes, in our local craft stores (Dallas, TX) Christmas items always show up this early. I have to admit, though, I love it!

I'm not seeing Christmas goods in the general mdse stores like Wal-Mart and Target yet. The craft stores have Christmas things but if you're going to make crafts you probably need to start early.....

Christmas ornaments have been available since July in our BX on the Air Force base. It's so strange to see Christmas stuff out that early and it's still there.

I'm not sure I've seen any Christmas items in the stores yet. However, those craft and hobby stores do get started earlier than other stores. Back to School Items and Halloween candy rules most places right now.
