Why did you start your blog and what is the link to it?

My reason was to simply start helping others learn to save money and live more frugal. The link to my blog is freebiejunkiessavings.blogspot.com

I wanted to get a free ipad :) Now I do because it is a lot of fun and good practise for my writing. I hope I can translate it into an actual column in our local paper and to make some money from it eventually.

My blog is my commitment to saving my memories, and keeping a record of precious conversations.

The act of lighting a candle in honor of those who have passed is a centuries old tradition that allows us to express what we cannot communicate with words. I light a lot of candles these days, and I have learned that by lighting a candle for Michael I remember and actively honor his life and his memory. The Conversational Pack Rat is a verbal act of bringing light into darkness in much the same way a candle is. I started thinking after my dad died about so many conversations that I had over the years with my dad, some of the conversations were crystal clear, and others were not. I started thinking how we keep physical possessions as keepsakes, but what do we do with our conversational keepsakes? I did not really spend too much more time thinking about my conversational keepsakes, but that changed after Michael died. I became a packrat trying to remember every conversation, and to journal those conversations. I wanted to be able to put them somewhere safe in much the same way I do my valuables.

I started it because I wanted a place to vent or spout random nonsense. That and a friend encouraged it because she gets a kick out of my stories. Oh and I am obsessed with I Love Lucy.

I started my original blog because I wanted a place to vent/talk and because I wanted to me other people besides my kids. Then I had to delete it, and ever since then I've been trying to find my way back. Some days I want to "no holds bar" and then sometimes I think I need to watch what I say.

Either way, I love writing, and the interaction of meeting new people and reading their stories smiley

i decided that I wanted to share things I know, learned, experienced. I have spent an enormous amount of time being made to feel that my life is irrelevant because I don't...

1. follow the crowd

2. Am a SAHM

3. Chose marriage, kids and my spiritual belief to being a college educated career women

I found out, I am relevant, their are people like me, I am ME

I originally started myhttp://pjsprayerline.blogspot.com/ blog       because a friend told me that it is possible to earn money through posting a blog.  I don't have any children, or a business to talk about, so at first I didn't know what to do.  Then it hit me.  I love talking about the Lord, and witnessing, although the only way I can "witness" is if it comes up in a conversation.  I am not good at door knocking or going up and just starting a conversation about Jesus.  Anyway, I decided that I would do a Christian Blog and post Devotionals, Inspirational Stories and also when I go on trips come back and tell about  that.  The funny part about this whole thing is ...remember the reason I started this blog in the first place?$$$.  I haven't even really attempted to push the advertising issue.  I actually made $15.00 one time and I have been blogging since September of 2009.  I can honestly say my First and foremost reason for my blog is to Get God's Word into people's hearts, and give them something to think about.  Too many people are non-chalant about their faith, and are what I call "luke-warm".  They believe in God, but that's where it stops.  If they have to do anything.  They aren't interested.  Oops!  Sorry, I'll leave the "soapbox' on my blog! LOL!

We were going through a huge life change. I started journaling on the computer so that I would remember all the things that God was doing in our lives. Then I realized how much I could share and I wanted people to know how real God is. So...I started my blog. If you would like to read my testimony, it's one the top link on my page. As more and more people heard about our story, I was amazed by how it spoke differently to each person. And funny, but at times when someone says how encouraged they are by our testimony and then they would share their story, it is always at a time where I need encouragement as well.

I started my blog as a way of writing down ideas and gathering inspiration for my to-be home... but I loved it so much that now I post about a lot things. Particularly my happy life in Australia. :)

I love hearing all your stories. Especially the reason of ministry. God has been so good to my family. I love telling others about Him and my testimony. Seems like we all have a lot in common.... :)

I started mine because after seeing my friends blog, I thought it was a neat idea to let it all out plus meet new people. :]
