Photo Editing question ~

Started by Carol , author of ~ A CREATIVE HARBOR ~ Carol L McKenna 6/23/2012 3:44:05 PM

I know there are 'free programs' and I know all the 'fancy schmancy' photo edit programs ~ I just want a very simple  software program to put text on photos ~  that I can purchase.

I used to use Picasa and still do for my blog sometimes~ but would like a software program that is intuitive like picasa without having to 'take a college course' to learn it ~ Any ideas anyone?

My new favorite online program is Picmonkey.com.

Super easy, nothing to sign up for. Just upload your photo and and you can even add special effects, frames, text--all for free.

PicMonkey is my new favorite, also. There are so many great functions with PicMonkey & it's super easy to use. It's by some of the people who put together Picnik (which is no longer available). There's also Irfanview, I'll use it alongside Picasa.

I've become a fan of PicMonkey too.  It has basic editing functions like cropping, adding text, and adjusting brightness, as well as fun stuff like adding frames and making collages.  And it's all free!
