Bedroom Theme for a baby girl

Started by Kari , author of The Dating Divas 9/26/2011 1:39:01 PM

Hi all! I just found out that I am pregnant with our first baby girl! I have two boys already...and trust me when I say I know how to raise boys. Girl territory has always been foreign ground for me, so I am THRILLED to have some pink in my house. Finally! I am getting caught up though and time is running out. I really want to make her bedroom special...very light, very pink, very girlie, but subtle and feminine. Any suggestions or ideas? I have a cute pale blue and white bedding set with flowers from the Pottery Barn (which I got for free), but I really want to add in pinks to the mix. What are your ideas? That is all I have so far. I only have 4 months left to get it all put together and over the holidays no less! So any ideas will be so welcomed! Thank you!

Congratulations! But you will have to wait for Redhead Riter to comment, she will most likely have good ideas on this. I have one son and never had that girl I wanted. So I can only imagine your excitement!

Congratulations on your baby!  Have you ever heard of Pinterest?  You can do a search of ideas on there.  I typed in baby girl rooms and came up with quite a bit.  Here is a link:  http://pinterest.com/search/?q=baby+girl+rooms
