Started by RedheadRiter , author of The Redhead Riter - Witty, Intelligent & Addictive 5/22/2011 4:54:38 PM

Welcome to The Redhead Riter's community where the Witty and Intelligent people hang out.  You will find chatting with us quite Addictive, so you have been forewarned!

This thread will go on forever and it is a place where we can all check in on a daily basis like we would with our neighbor across the fence or our family at the dinner table.

I look forward to getting to know you!

I am so happy, happy, happy for you. Stick with the language thing and you will really earn big $$$ in a very short amount of time.

Do I find it exciting? yes in the meaning of I have a job. I am grateful. If I find something less stressful before, I will take it for sure! Red was right, when she mentioned my languages before. No one is really  interested in one of my two degrees. All they see the potential and value in my languages. LOL I guess my English will remain on the current level....

That's great! Nursing is another field that you could flourish in and make great money. They are always in need and depending on the area of the country, you can be paid very nicely.

I see this all as a big positive. You won't ever have to worry about someone supporting you again. You will be 100% independent!!!!

And I decided to take another approach as well. I will study and gain the American license in nursing too. My other degrees are accepted but not the nursing one. Actually started the process yesterday eve. 56MB on questions for the exams downloaded. LOL

Thank you Paula. {{{hugssss}}}

Red, sorry to hear that you struggle so much again. Big hug down the road!

Not over structured at all! That's how I live!

I used to do the same. Now I am making to-do lists for every day, I prepare it every afternoon! Partly according to priority. Most importantly I stopped writing my list till is was overflowing. By now my list holds to-do's for roughly 6h works plus 2h for delays, difficulties etc. If, and only if I get done all nicely I will take on one task from the next day. Do I sound over-structured????

What does laying down tracks mean?

Looks like another hot one here in upstate NY. Keeping the sun out of the house is key to keeping it cool. Nikita is not panting right now and that means so far I am keeping it cool. Once she starts panting, she makes me hot just hearing her! Hubby is trying to lay down tracks and can't do it if she is panting. So hopefully, she will sleep soundly and he can accomplish that.

Meeeeeeeeeeee tooooooooooooooo!

Well, my Child Sensitive Blog is no more. I talked with my former boss and since I'm not working that blog and it has their official business name on it, he preferred to have it removed. I've transferred the twitter name over to my new blog so if you followed me before, you will still get my tweets. I think the Facebook page is now "unpublished" meaning nobody but me can see it. So now I am officially a one-blog owner again. I don't know yet if I will start a Facebook page to go with this blog. It's just a wait and see thing. I may end up starting one at some point, but for now I've got enough to do.

Richmond was hit verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry hard. Millions without power with such horribly hot weather too. Miserable.

I just read about the power outages! Have you seen it on television? I am wondering if Richmond area was hit? I am a little worried about Red and Paula.

Some people won't get power back until THIS Sunday. That's a long time without power in the heat.

According to the news (online) there was a lot of people killed by falling trees. Washington DC had something like 400 stop lights that were off. Many states were affected like VA, WV, NC, MD,,PA, OH and IN. It also mentioned how hot it was in Nashville, record temps. Look on Google news.
