Great questions - this is a new version of our community widget
that we are currently testing. The goal is to make the widget
match your blog better.
However, we're finding that the sidebar widget is not the most
optimal way to integrate the community into your blog - we're
finding the community snippets (in your admin menu) where you
occasionally post discussions to your blog, and embedded
discussions are a much better way to integrate that community.
