How to Create a Blog Post of Your Hottest & Latest Community Discussions

Started by Anne , author of BlogFrog Blog — We Turn Blogs Into Communities 11/16/2011 1:05:39 PM

We're so excited to introduce an exciting new BlogFrog feature-- Community Snippets!

Want to generate immediate content for your blog and drive more traffic to your community? Follow these steps to share the hottest and latest discussions from your community as a nicely formatted blog post:

  1. Go into your BlogFrog community. Remember to sign in so you can access your Admin Menu.
  2. Click on Admin Menu in the left sidebar.
  3. You'll see a link to Community Snippets. Click that link.
  4. From there, you can choose whether you want to highlight the popular discussions (in the past week) or the newest discussions (from the past week). You can also decide how many discussions you'd like to show.
  5. A preview of the post will then be generated.
  6. Once you've chosen what you'd like to feature, copy and paste the code into your blog post and...
  7. Publish the easiest blog post you've ever created!

Happy BlogFrogging!

Jenny, I feel the same way! I've been on Blog Frog for a year and a half and it seems all I do is kill threads and then when some of those communities do those Follow Friday things, no one ever goes to my blog. We should be friends, lol!
