I noticed that some communities have a greatly reduced number of members.  What happened to their members?

Yesterday we went through a routine where we weeded out lots of inactive or unclaimed profiles to free up server resources.  We were going to put this in the newsletter, but we thought we would just contact community owners directly.  We have put in precautions to prevent "unclaimed" accounts so we shouldn't have to do this again.  Thanks and good question!

Honestly, I have not noticed. I don't know what happened when I first joined blogfrog, but Rehead Rita, I did not fit with all the communities I was reading. Not a stay-at-homer with babies (did that for 11 years), not mormon, crafty, a sewer, have 5 chldren or homeschool. Ack! I felt like an outcast until I found Y-O-U!
